Support our mission

We bring together data that is otherwise challenging to connect, giving researchers access to the patient data resources of our member health services. This means researchers have access to millions of clinical, bio-specimen, genetic and imaging data across multiple sites.

How your donation helps

BioGrid invites philanthropic support for our operations, which will assist with investment in our technological requirements and resourcing, both of which are currently funded by our clients and members. By funding these aspects, you will be ensuring that research programs are even more cost-effective, and you will also be enabling smaller research programs to become financially viable.

BioGrid’s benefits

The benefits of what BioGrid enables include:

  • Leveraging patient-supplied data from multiple sites to study treatment efficacy and long-term outcomes
  • Enabling research into rare diseases that affect a relatively small number of people
  • Providing the opportunity for new research that was not previously possible due to dispersed and small patient populations
  • Better use of bio-specimen collections by making them accessible for future research

These benefits ultimately result in better information for clinicians and therefore potentially better outcomes for patients.

Amongst the biggest problems that investigators face are data collection, data storage, data analysis, statistical analysis of data.

A second order of problems is concerned with ethics and privacy and the amazing thing about BioGrid is that it addresses all those things.
